How often will I need to see Meg?

Your period of counselling depends on a number of factors, and is primarily governed by the severity of the issues affecting you. Together, during our first session, we will outline a plan detailing the number of sessions and their frequency. Meg will make an honest evaluation of your situation; however, it will ultimately be up to you to book appointments with the frequency most valuable to you.

Some people come to therapy looking for structured and specific outcomes that may be achieved over a short period, while others are looking for ongoing personal development over a longer timeline.

Can I cancel my appointment?

Meg understands that life can get in the way. Should you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please phone, email, or text Meg as early as possible to ensure the appointment can be offered to other clients on the waiting list.

If you booked online you can cancel or reschedule with the link in your booking confirmation.

Cancellations can be made no later than 24 hours prior to the session. Cancellation fees will apply for less than 24hrs’ notice.

What should I expect on my first visit?

For many, seeking support from a counsellor can be daunting in and of itself. The good news is that by deciding to book an appointment, you have already completed the hardest part of the process.

During your first visit, Meg will prioritise getting to know you and your situation, and allowing you to get to know her. Together, you will set some therapeutic goals and identify your preferred ways of working together. By working collaboratively, Meg will help you get the best results in a way that feels right to you.
